Summer trip — team building 2019

Another bright, cheerful summer came round, and we set work aside for a while. We — the extended STECH family — gathered here at Quynh Bang beach, full of sun and wind, white sand and blue sea, to play together and throw ourselves into it amid peals of laughter.
We set off with everyone excited, the children most of all, and stopped at the Xuan Dat Viet resort — wild, green, right by the sea with the waves murmuring. The children cried out with delight when they saw how close the water was; they had never been so happy.
This year's summer trip was combined with team-building activities, not only to bring colleagues and their families closer together but also to raise everyone's spirits, energy and creativity, to make room for real play, and to leave everyone with memories of the trip.
The fierce summer sun of central Vietnam seemed to fan the enthusiasm — in the adults and just as much in the lovely children who were the heart of this trip. Through tug of war, spin-and-shoot football, sack races and the fill-the-tube water game came helpless laughter, mixed with the sweat running down our cheeks; but what showed was each team's will to win, and the closeness and affection among everyone.
The summer 2019 programme ran on into the gala dinner and the campfire, with the song "Joining hands in a great circle" — as if to say that we, the members of the STECH family, always stay close, always care for one another, and open our arms to the new members who will join the family.
Short as it was, the trip gave everyone a great deal: it brought us closer, made us fonder of one another, and let us pool our minds and energy so that STECH grows stronger and reaches further.
