STECH raises customer satisfaction and staff engagement

Alongside the satisfaction customers expressed after the SmartQMAN queue management system was rolled out to hospitals in Hanoi under the Hanoi Department of Health, SmartQMAN has been deployed at more than 30% of Hanoi's hospitals, including Hoe Nhai General Hospital, Van Dinh Regional General Hospital, Son Tay General Hospital and Thanh Oai General Hospital. As soon as SmartQMAN went live, the disorder in the reception areas and outpatient departments was resolved for good, and patients no longer face the same anxiety and frustration.

Buoyed by the effort that ran from the start of the project to its close, on 27 April 2013, leaving the noise and bustle of Hanoi behind, STECH held its "Staff Engagement 2013" team-building programme, a mock battle with plastic pellets among the pine hills of Soc Son.

In the spirit of "work hard, play hard", STECH always seeks to give every employee the comfortable, warm atmosphere of a family through shared activities. By actively building a friendly, professional working environment and paying attention to morale, STECH has been steadily raising productivity. Old and young, women and men, with no distance between managers and staff, everyone under the shared STECH roof threw themselves into the mock battle.

Even with the full protective helmets, and even under the shade of the pines with a caressing breeze, the sweat of the charge, volleys of plastic pellets, peals of laughter and shrieks from those hit by the pellets brought STECH's staff closer together.

After the team-building, everyone gathered to talk, share experience and open up about what weighs on them at work and in life. Some long-serving staff said: "I have worked and given my best at STECH since the first days after it was founded, and I have taken part in many company events, but this is the first time I have played such a fun game. The blue and red teams needed tactics and strategy, and they also needed to work together smoothly to win."

These will be fine memories, moments that everyone at STECH will hold on to.
